Jamestown Insurance Company, A Risk Retention Group

 

Jamestown Insurance Company, A Risk Retention Group (Jamestown) was formed
during 2003 as a stock risk retention group under the Federal Liability Risk
Retention Act of 1986.  Jamestown incorporated in South Carolina, commenced
operation March 31, 2003 and is licensed as a captive insurance company. 
Jamestown provides general liability and automobile liability insurance coverage
to its policyholders, who are dealers in the propane industry.  All policyholders are
required to be shareholders of Jamestown

 

Jamestown provides, on an occurrence basis, general liability and commercial
automobile liability coverage to its policyholders.  The minimum coverage
of general liability that may be purchased is $1,000,000.00 per
occurrence and $2,000,000.00 in the aggregate.  Policyholders
also have the option to purchase insurance coverage up to
$5,000,000.00 per occurrence and $10,000,000.00 in
the aggregate.

 

Jamestown underwrites and provides insurance for a
select group of propane dealers throughout the South
and Midwest.


We are currently licensed in 17 states to provide both
general liability and automobile liability for the shareholders
of Jamestown.
